while she made her way over to the table, sat down and began to ponder about when she'd ever see her father and family's own faces.

considering the fact that she can't even leave this place at all. and as the good daughter she was, she'd stay and live in silence if needed.

the princess made her way around her ornate yet incredibly desolate living space, books and papers that were strewn about picked up into her own arms.

it should be about that time that father would send someone to check on her as per usual. but honestly, his concern was completely uncalled for

with softened eyes, she gently bowed her head before straightening her back. she did what she had to do, so she'd probably need to get back to work.

she'd gently grasp a small bundle of her silver hair, avoiding his gaze for but a moment.

even she seemed a little nervous.

she'd tilt her own head, strands of silver falling over her eyes as her stoic expression shifted to a slight confusion.

". . .is it. . .not normal to give gifts to someone who is a friend. . . ?"

shaking her head, she gently placed the frozen tear on his palm. her neutral expression unfaltered as she looked up at him.

"sam told me you like this, so i wanted to give this to you as a gift."

she's silent for a moment before taking something out of her pocket and holding it out to him.

"here. for you."
