Almost 60 yrs difference, but is the story much different? Now we have the ability to efficiently map sub-field variability as well. Soil K appears to be a bit lower which should be no surprise (note 1968 values in lbs/ac, 2024 in ppm).
And we can make pretty graphs in excel.π
Can we use tile drains to deal with precipitation extremes - not just too much water? Amazing if we can figure out the engineering for more than just "flat" terrain. mydigitalpublication.com/publication/...
Can't stress the importance of understanding the "why" enough when applying precision ag. Salinity and sodicity driven constraints are really limiting the effective root zone in this small 12 ha paddock.
This data will form the basis for future input decisions and some ripping trials. #swatagronomy
