Fellow comic book nerds! Here's a fun game - I've taken 2 screenshots from someone's vintage home movie where they quickly panned around a 7-Eleven, catching the comics for an instant. Let's identify not only the comics in the images, but what else could have been on the spinner...

Upper right is one of the issues of the 1987 Demon mini series. I think issue 3 judging by the text color over the name. 3 was the only one to use red text.

Snagged a really big bag of World's Smallest figures the other day, all Transformers, TMNT, He-Man, and GI Joe. Really neat stuff and in scale for some cool toy pics. They also came with actual mini comics too, so fun little bonus.

I absolutely love getting messages like this about #Micronauts. Only a few got to see it, but those that did know what we built was awesome.

And yes, my guy Richard Horvitz (Kaos!!) came and played in the micro sandbox too. 🤩

You are very welcome! You guys deserve all the praise for the work you did on this series. Hopefully, it'll get more attention, especially if some of the bigger names covering lost media cover it.

I'm very happy the series managed to escape. I'll admit I went in basically knowing they're tiny, & the series delivered a fairly fleshed out world. It's a kids show, but if you like action cartoons, sci-fi, or just want something fun to watch, see if you can find it, it's not to hard if you look.

The Micronauts chilling

1/ Finished Micronauts a few days ago. No spoilers on it, it's great. Really deserved a lot better then it was treated. Not going into spoilers but Hasbro really made a mistake vaulting it. It has strong world building, fun characters, good action, and some very funny jokes peppered throughout

Welp... HasBRUH took it down.

Maybe it will find a proper way out into the world again. Or illegal. I'm fine either way it gets to have a life.

Many, many, many people did I'm sure of it. No way it's gonna be lost again at this point, and that's such a good thing. It's a series that really is worth watching.

Yup, looks like it finally got taken down for real. Genie is out of the bottle though, I've seen it getting reuploaded elsewhere now. Plenty of people grabbed copies while it was up I imagine.

I see a 5mm hole on the outside of his leg. May mean they partsform? Or it folds up, and those are just for pegging in in jet mode

Ya'know, I didn't notice that, but I will admit I didn't look really close. I'll have to take another look. There were a few things I had issues with, like feeling episodes 5 and 6 should have been swapped. Or the A-story in 22 should have come earlier in the season. But I'm happy with it as a whole

Just finished season 1. It's solid all the way through and does get better as it goes on. Action is well done, and I have to admit some of the humor did make me laugh out loud at moments. It's good sci-fi and a show well worth watching.

On to season 2!

Some inside baseball here since you are a Transformers fan -- our universe was definitely going to be connected to the TF one. We worked hard toward the end of Season 2 to have the events there be something that could have a TF connection if Hasbro had ever wanted to run with it.
