Labor Secretary’s Husband Barred From the Department After Sexual Assault Reports

BREAKING NYT:

The husband of Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer has been barred from the department's headquarters after at least two female staff members told officials that he had sexually assaulted them, according to people familiar with the decision and a police report obtained by The Times.

“‘I am begging my fellow politicians, my fellow Americans to realize that right now in this country we are not fighting over policy or political party,’ Pritzker said. ‘We are fighting over whether we are going to be a civilization rooted in empathy and kindness—or one rooted in cruelty and rage.’”

I'm never 100% sure something is true until these people deny it.
