Grey cotton and deep red viscose plied together, skeined up. Grey cotton and deep red viscose on drop spindles in the background and partially plied onto a Turkish spindle into the foreground

Finished the viscose to go with that grey cotton and plied them together. About 106 yds light dk.

It would look beautiful in either, but I would do the honey scarf because it will allow the yarn to shine more.

50 g viscose. Plan to ply it with the cotton tomorrow. This took about a quarter of the time of the cotton. #handspun
Don't love the consistency of this, but I started to get the hang of it.

I love spinning cotton, even on a drop spindle. It might be an unusual choice, but it can be good

For those of us allergic to wool, synthetic is a valid option. And small amounts of synthetic are good for making things last, such as socks.

It's a shame more white men over 35 aren't yelling at them then. Get to work.

I have 5 knitting projects on the go and not 1 is in the simple "I can do it in a meeting" stage. Ugh. Going crazy. #knitsky
