All this week I've written about how here in IL, dark money and MAGA aligned PACs are spending absurd sums of money to prop up establishment corporate Dems while attacking progressive Dems who are actually willing to fight.
MSNOW has the scoop on just how deep this goes:

Holy shit, there's a sizable excerpt of CRONE up at SciFiNow, the prologue and first chapter. Real easy to catch the tone of the book and see if it's your thing.
I'll put preorder links in the comments. Thanks!

Crying at the @harronwawker.bsky.social review of MANHUNT in here <3
YESSSSS
They rule - it’s such a great show and always a phenomenal time.
I love when they have authors on @thekingcast.bsky.social, and @natcassidy.bsky.social always delivers. Discussing NIGHTMARES AND DREAMSCAPES is the cherry on top.
Aw, thanks for listening, Chris!! I so appreciate that!
This episode could’ve been twice as long. Absolutely loved it. @natcassidy.bsky.social talking NIGHTMARES & DREAMSCAPES with @ericvespe.bsky.social and @brezwrites.bsky.social is the coolest.

It is always such an honor and delight to chat with @brezwrites.bsky.social and @ericvespe.bsky.social over on The Kingcast! And, man, we coulda swam in the waters of NIGHTMARES & DREAMSCAPES alllll day.

These companies all settled lawsuits with Donald Trump by promising to donate as much as $63 MILLION to his presidential library.
But then, Trump dissolved a library fund.
So where'd the money go?
I'm pressing these CEOs for answers.
Even as a cynical scholar of rape culture, I'm shocked that this isn't the headline story on domestic politics everywhere right now. It's just an unfathomable abuse of power, in clear violation of the law.
Holy crap, this is so kind of you—thank you! So glad you enjoyed it!
Just finished Nestlings by Nat Cassidy (@natcassidy.bsky.social). This book was astounding. Nasty and scary and deeply thoughtful and personal and impossible to put down. Blew through it in three days and I’m gonna be thinking about it for years.
please anyone come play with me it’s so lonely out here

So grateful to my hometown ABC affiliate for this lovely and appreciated segment on I KNOW A PLACE! Huge thanks for letting me ramble about how much the desert, horror, and, of course, Stephen King mean to me.

Strongly suspect that as this war and its negative effects escalate, we're gonna see a massive increase in disinfo and unsourced "news" - starting right the hell now.
PLEASE don't share "breaking" news from rando or disreputable accounts who provide no links.
I need every single male artist that follows me to read this. It's not very long. You need to bear witness to this shit. You have to see it with your own eyes because you never will in your everyday life.
I'm serious, read it all please

Weird chart. What happened in 2025 in the US? Did political leadership change and then start systematically dismantling education, science, health care, and government, levying arbitrary tariffs, randomly attacking major US cities, and destroying the economy?
Just asking.
I will say, there are also, quite noticeably, fewer signs than ever before. So that’s nice.
Driving through middle America, I’m always struck by the signs that clearly were once Trump/Pence and have now been stickered or painted to say Trump/Vance. It really highlights 1) how little disposable income his supporters out here have and 2) how little loyalty their cult leader has.
today is bandcamp Friday. a great day to support musicians because they don't take a cut of revenue and these streaming services do not care if we live or die
I have many compact discs available. I hear people like those these days and I have a bunch of rare ones

In every Republican presidency of my lifetime there's been a recession and a new war in the Middle East.
Pete Hegseth loves war crimes, it's the entire reason he has the job in the first place.
