It takes a couple weeks or so depending on the bird. They will probably be physically tender and crabby. Don’t be surprised if they don’t want to cuddle.
Make sure to give them extra protein so they can grow big strong feathers.

She has a best friend she snuggles every night. They have a covered run that we wrap with heavy clear plastic every fall/winter to keep the weather out and yet they still choose to go outside. 🤣
