Animals aren't "biomedical models", they are living beings with their own thoughts and feelings. Crooked scientists are failures of humanity, collecting paychecks with blood-soaked, greedy hands.

They don't "help up us with research", they are exploited and abused for money which slows beneficial research because over 95% of drugs tested on animals have failed in humans.
All scientists are doing is killing them at will and getting paid for it while people continue to die of cancer.

Last I checked, developing nations can harvest fruits and vegetables and raise chickens(eggs). Many consume insects as part of a regular diet. No one is forcing them to fish.

I wouldn't even visit a country where people get away with treating any animal like that in plain sight. Even with all the problems in the US, people that abuse their dogs in public get whooped. As they should.

"It's tradition" is no excuse for anything. We can do better.

Bottom line, different eating habits work for different people, but the worst thing you can do if insulin resistant is avoid fat. "Fat bad" is an outdated belief that was debunked in the 2000s.

If you're doing low carb, high fat, your body will burn fat for energy. It will also produce less insulin, thus increasing insulin sensitivity.
You just want to add in some carbs eventually in the form of fruit and more veggies or your body might become less efficient at regulating blood sugar.

I can't believe anyone would tell you to avoid fats, if anything a short term keto, high fat diet and long term low carb, moderate-to-high fat diet is pretty much the only way to reverse it. And there's plenty of evidence of that if you want to look it up(I am not a dietician).
