I started making and selling pots in highschool, but I don’t think I started calling myself an artist until I was almost done with my BFA college program. I think up to that point I was calling myself an art student.I have some friends that use “potter” or “ceramicist” but I have always loved artist
Creative folks: When did you start calling yourself an artist? (If you do!) Posting my answer as a comment!

Hi! So there actually isn’t a reel on it- BUT there is a saved story highlight called “Studio Stuff” which has them linked. It’s also linked in my Amazon storefront- which is on my Instagram! I do agree that the algorithm is wild but in this case- you didn’t miss a reel! 💚
Ahh thank you for such a kind comment! 💚
I had that for a long time! I really like this because I have found I actually use my ribs more!
Ahh hi friend!
Thank you! I look at it while I throw and I find it both relaxing and inspiring honestly!
Haha okay thank you for tagging me in this because I just got on this app (made the account a while back but didn’t use it) and this makes me feel like I already found my friends again 😂
Hi- I’m Hope! A ceramic artist and educator who’s passionate about pottery, tools, cows, and glitter. Nice to meet you! Here’s a photo of my studio featuring my rib wall!
