Thank you for all the commentary through Synod! I must confess that I haven't paid much attention to Synod this year EXCEPT through the Synic-eye's view--so glad to have a humorous eye on events. Sending appreciation for much needed smiles!

That’s right. The billionaire bailout bill forces your tax dollars to pay for concentration camps and masked thugs to disappear your neighbors without due process. 16M people will be thrown off healthcare to pay for that, along with tax breaks for the rich.

As depressed as I was the day after Donald Trump was elected, it appears I underestimated the amount of gloom and doom suited to the occasion.

It's appalling how trigger happy our nation has been for most of our history. It just gets worse and worse, and there is so little restraint because the powerful dehumanize everyone who is not just like them. Depressing.
