I remember going to Walden Books and eagerly getting this, the novel, and the ensuing novels and WEG books for that trilogy. I loved them so, so much at the time. I tried a re-read about 15 years ago and couldn't finish Heir, let alone the ensuing two. I should have kept the memories untainted. 😢

Reading this made me curious to find out more about the author. Big time Mormon with possibly some Scientology thrown in for good measure it seems. That... explains a lot. 🙃
