He was trying to find out how Margaret Fuller died and to look for her manuscript about the Italian revolution. Emerson sent Thoreau, who found 1850s fake news/

A traffic stop is causing outrage, after a young man born and raised on Long Island was pulled over and searched by ICE agents. He said it was simply because he’s Latino. When ICE found out he’s a U.S. citizen, they let him go—without giving an explanation or apology—but the damage was already done.
