100+ farm workers from across CA want to be in Fresno as our case against the Trump Admin’s wage cuts is heard in federal court. They'll rally in front of the courthouse. We need funds for buses, vans, food & water for them.

I hate to do this but I'm at a loss. We need to move out of this apartment ASAP, but we can't afford it on our own. We need help. I've made a goal on Ko-Fi. I have some things for sale on there as well. If you can give or buy anything to help, it would be so appreciated. 🧵

🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 URGENT ACTION ON BOOK BAN LEGISLATION FOR IDAHO. 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨
Please read the full thread.
Legislators have proposed yet another bill that would undermine the purpose of libraries statewide, and it would not only eschew the Miller Test, it'd create TWO CLASSES of access.

Merci!
Feelin' pretty good about this top, even though these red fabrics always look pink-er & blurry & awful in photos. (If anyone knows why, please share.)
Hopefully my nephew loves how his vision is coming together!
Now to not hyperventilate until I get a border on all those bias edges. 😬

If you're open to something that's kidlit but which I enjoyed very much myself even on a second listen, take a look at The Very Nearly Honorable League of Pirates series by Caroline Carlson, narrated by Katherine Kellgren.
Good luck finding a great next listen! 🤞
You may need a thing about now that isn’t awful. Here. Have a porcupine in a tree that I spotted near the St Lawrence River. I talked to them for a while and told them they were cool. I hope they got the vibe.
I love how you laid out the colors! 🧡 Congrats on finishing even while the fabric was fighting you.
So pretty!
This is wonderful, thank you for sharing it with us. 💚
These look fantastic! 💙

Banging little 🧵
We ended up getting a bunch of ours from an unfinished furniture type place that could build them to order. It may have turned out more expensive than buying something pre-made, but we were absolutely trying to fill every inch of various walls with book storage.
Did you ever get told "Hay is for horses"? 'Cause I sure did.

Okay, well, I already know I don't want to live in this house for the rest of my life, so now I'm gonna have a strangely specific list of wants when I talk to a realtor in a few years. 😂
I have a book-filled house on a street that has a bucolic countryside name, and there are multiple trees on the property. I feel like that's close enough! 😭 (Also this week I solved the mystery of where my lint roller went.)
I didn't know a ghost cat was an option, I'm also allergic and 51, where is my ghost cat??

Right?!
2) My mother insisted that you had to accept Jesus to go to heaven, and that God found a way for everyone to hear about Jesus. Yes, she said, even uncontacted peoples. Yes, it wasn't fair that some people heard about Jesus every day, and some people maybe once in their life, but oh well.
I remember two specific things that got me thinking "um, this doesn't seem right to me":
1) Going to church after being so sick I couldn't do *anything*, I slept most of the day, and the minister preaching that everyone had sinned since last time they were at church, and needed to repent.
Hypothetically. 👍
