British Legion Celtic cross memorial to the fallen with a beautiful display of poppies in front accompanied by flags and markers to some of the CWGC casualties in Barry Merthyr Dyfan cemetery.

A beautiful display of poppies at the #BritishLegion memorial at Barry Merthyr Dyfan Cemetery a few weeks ago ago. Ensuring that all those that fell are never forgotten.

Thank you to everyone who attended the last Commonwealth War Graves Commission tour of the year on Thursday morning at Barry Merthyr Dyfan cemetery in the Vale of Glamorgan. We were so fortunate with the weather. Some great stories and amazing interactions.

A wonderful, poignant service of Commemoration of VJ 80 at All Saints Church yesterday evening. Two very well read readings by a couple of young cadets.
Several moving stories about those that served in the Far East, some that silently returned home and sadly many who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

My heart felt thanks to everyone who attended the rededication service of three
@CWGC sailors headstones at Barry Merthyr Dyfan Cemetery yesterday morning. A wonderful turn out to remember three Barry men who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Post image Milton Miller Headstone

On Sunday morning after the remembrance parades, a small rededication service took place of a new Commonwealth War Graves headstone for Milton Miller at St Andrews Major near Dinas Powys in the Vale of Glamorgan.
Not buried at this exact location in the cemetery, but he is known to be there.
