I especially like how Tumblr has done it and even if you're searching for something and one of the posts contains the tag you blocked it blurrs out the stuff you don't want to see so my search is no longer flooded by that one godawful ship. Its glorious.

Muted words is one of the best things social media has come up with. The annoying popstar I don't like? Gone. The ship from my fandom that I hate? Never to be seen again. Its such a timeline cleanse.
