NTU wildlife Conservation students had a memorable day in Pilanesberg National Park today. 12 year old male leopard called Gahiji caught wildebeest calf. Thanks to Rachael Leeman for ID info.

Drought conditions continue in NW Province SA, and as such rodent densities very low. This years annual trapping did however catch a few of my favourite pouched mice, Saccostomus campestris
