This female Barred Buttonquail was upset with me getting close to her male. She turned, looked straight at me, fluffed up feathers, bowed down & called out. This 'bluffing behavior' is to threaten a perceived 'predator'. She won.

I'm actually surprised the Osprey isn't just hidden by the branch but facing the wrong way as well. 😂
