3 months, 3 Final Fantasy games. At this rate, we'll be getting the last of the Pixel Remaster titles (1-6) at the beginning of June... just in time for a big announcement at Showcase - maybe continue the series with FF7 Remake in Game Pass? Jump to latest FF16? What do you think?
Thinking about comics today for some reason. Like that time Captain America quit taking orders because the government was corrupt, and when he led a whole superhero rebellion against unjust registration laws. When Superman and Batman fought a bunch of white supremacists.
Couldn’t have been much closer than this! #ArcRaiders #fail
Multiple citizen reports today of ICE deployed near Climate Pledge Arena, staying at the Stay Pineapple hotel at 5th and Bell.
If you're planning on going to the Torrent game tonight and you've got a higher risk profile (i.e., if you're brown), be extremely vigilant.
New month, new FF! Hoping this trend continues for all the OG games - I think I'm on track to finish FF1 by the time FF2 hits, maybe I can even finish them all this year?

The OG Final Fantasy is coming to Game Pass later this week! Hoping this means more FF are on the way.
We’re 6 whole days into the year, so I was overdue for some work travel, really.
Big Apple here I come!
Kirkland had them a week or two ago. I was super tempted but talked myself out of it. Might have to go back tomorrow though…
So we've had Deadpool/Batman and Batman/Deadpool this year, and now we're getting Superman/Spider-Man next year, which also happens to be the 30th anniversary of Marvel vs. DC and Amalgam Comics - are we finally getting more Amalgam????
I just realized I’ve been in Canada for 5 days and have yet to eat ketchup or all-dressed chips. This must be rectified and soon!
Is that a Crain cover?
I've been voting by mail for 15+ years - I can't imagine what a cluster it would be if everyone had to go to the polls in person again.
Anyone know of recovery efforts or needs in the area? Anything I can bring when we come?

Heading to Juneau next week and so glad to see the flood barriers helped minimize the damage! Hoping everyone affected can recover quickly.
Excited to see more of this! The original run was such a weird, unique take.
I actually kinda love this.
Please make this make sense. My daily, life-saving medicine, Evrysdi, that slows/stops my terminal disability, SMA, is only covered for 24 days every 27 days by Medicaid. That's right, they intentionally make me miss three doses per month to save money on saving my life.
Went in to Eddington basically blind and man did it get weird. Made a lot more sense once I realized it was an Ari Aster flick.
I thought the Galactus stuff actually worked out pretty well. They go off to face an unknown threat, realize they're outmatched, and then pull together to come up with a plan and take him down.
Also, it's kinda refreshing to see the movie be its own thing. Let Doomsday worry about setting up Doom.
My one complaint might be that Sue was too much "momma bear" and didn't get to show off her science chops, but she really was the emotional center of the team.
Fantastic Four First Steps was a fun watch! Loved seeing this iteration of Marvel's First Family on the big screen, plus HERBIE and a comics-accurate Galactus!!!
Looking forward to seeing how they fit into the wider MCU and of course DOOM!!!!
It’s been nearly 2 years since the Xbox Plays program was shuttered and I and my team were laid off.
Watching the massive industry lay offs since then has been heartbreaking on multiple levels. For anyone impacted, feel free to reach out - happy to help however I can. kotaku.com/latest-round...
Overheard at the airport:
“I tried watching that Jason Statham movie, Working Man? The story was dumb, and the acting was bad. I quit after like 30 minutes.”
Like, bruh, “story” and “acting” are not why you watch a Jason Statham movie!
So say we all.
I'd honestly love it if my refrigerator could tell me what's inside so I don't have to stand there with the door open trying to decide what to eat.
OK! Now that #XboxGamesShowcase is wrapped, what did you think?
My top picks:
Planet of Lana II - love atmospheric exploration
Mudang Two Hearts - getting some Splinter Cell vibes from this one!
Keeper - new Double Fine? YES PLEASE!
Clockwork Revolution - steampunk RPG, say less
What are yours?
Milo Ventimiglia? Black Ops 7? You have my attention!
