I am reading about the history of occupational therapy and craft work for psychiatric patients and I just realized that the expression "basket-case" (meaning crazy, anxious) must have originated from that history of psychiatric patient craft work as moral and alienated labour

Pas vraiment une lecture de Noël.
Je ne sais pas si on peut être « d’accord ou pas » avec cet essai de Didier Fassin, les faits désormais parlant d’eux-mêmes, on peut néanmoins continuer à s’interroger sur ce qui nous fait renoncer face au carnage en cours.
Vivement recommandé.
