Many different choices out there. I do it “old school” with my Canon DSLR attached to my telescope with an adaptor. I have an 11” Celestron. Others use deep sky cameras, which don’t have traditional lenses/mirrors. Smaller and lighter. But I prefer telescope and camera.

International Space Station passing over Melbourne, February 6th 2026. 30 second exposures. There are currently seven people on board the ISS, six men and one woman. 420 kilometres or so above the Earth, travelling at 27,000 kilometres per hour and orbiting once every 90 minutes.
