Privileged to be able to go on a #tolgabathospital trip and see the fruit bats and these magical microbats in person. Barbed wire is a main culprit for why these little lads arrive at the hospital. There are wildlife safe options out there - please look into them. #ibrc2025

Notebat tray stall before the crowds at #IBRC2025 decended today - I will be out again with it on Thursday during the breaks between talks.

Surprised, stoked, and flattered that one or more of my illustrations was part of the first plenary for this event! I will be out and about between sessions with a tray of notebats and stickers (including this blossom bat) at the event tomorrow and Thursday🦇💚🦇

#mermay be passed but I thought I'd share this fun sketch I did a few years ago. I have a Landsknecht garbed centaur around somewhere too. I was looking at the massive hats they wear and this jumped into my mind.

Soft velvety fawn brown coloured cup fungus side lit with a gentle morning light, along with gravel, a bright green moss and corrugated cardboard laid down to suppress weeds.

This years theme is going to be "fat bats and fries things" (and in two weeks approx I nip up to IBRC 2025 as its in Australia this year to spruik the project :D)

I know it would be a very poor second choice, but could you get one of those videoscreen picture frames and set it up to be live streaming someone else's aquarium? There is a Japanese guy I follow on Instagram that has video after video of his beautiful tiny sharks. I could watch them all day.
