I am once again reminded that Ford really needs to bundle anger management classes with the Everests and Rangers

A box from a Sony digital camera, it has a series of labels with capabilities of the camera, such as Hologram AF or Precision Digital 10x zoom

They need to bring back these on camera boxes.

I swear I have processed a bunch of NZ film photos, converting them from negatives to positives, and I have the original RAW files from the scans, but I cannot find them in any catalogue and I am so confused.

YouTube, I'm begging you, please add 1.15x speed on the apps on TV / streaming sticks. 1.25x is too much, 1x is too slow (for longer, essay type YouTubes)

Work: me screaming WTF at my screen until home time.

If Kodak Eastman could now release the ISO800 film that's half the price of Portra, and maybe some more stuff in 120, that'd be great 😅

Going back to some photos I took in September - 250D in ECN-2 - really should have noticed the chemicals were on their way out at that point. Mistake on my behalf :-/

Turns out if you load up some UltraMax and use fresh chemicals the OM-10 is really fun to shoot with and can produce some nice photos - my skill not withstanding. The zoom I have that I think back focuses maybe does at infinity, but other than that, it's good!

I can hear the kennels a little way away on the other side of the fields has woken up. Few horses seem awake too.

It's funny that IG ads for film from camera stores are all entirely out of stock. Like Ted's and DigiDirect advertising Provia and Velvia. But also Cinestill and basically anything that isn't UltraMax or Gold.

I've been getting used to watching for different film stocks and dev chemicals to be available in stores. Picking up a few rolls of different things when I do order because of shipping costs.

Second time processing Phoenix II in ECN-2. Negs came out much thinner than last time. Chemicals might be exhausted 😬

Whenever I get to a photo and think "ohh, this is nice" - sure enough, 77mm.

Still working my way through photos from the wedding. Take aways so far. The dynamic range and noise performance on the a6700 is brilliant and saving me. The Pentax 77mm lens is still amazing, as is the K-1.

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing? 2? Questions I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up. Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

If anyone needs me I will be in the museum, lying down next to the bog bodies.
