There's no product without us, yet we get told it's more important to pay everyone else.

I think its genuinely a virtue to accept that you could be wrong about anything and kill the part of yourself that needs to always be seen as correct and smarter than others on any given topic

So, I think it's time I begin, in detailed specifics, talking about the mess that is Unbound / Boundless as a book publisher, in essence stealing most of a years royalties from me and many other authors, as a result of poor financial decisions, and legal BS.

This!! It's really cool because basically chickens around cats naturally produce antibodies that neutralize the protein that makes people allergic to cats and if a cat eats eggs from those chickens, they basically become hypoallergenic. That's what the food does, too!

A. I'd honestly run out of steam a bit the year before DAtV and got excited for it and now I'm at a pleasant plateau. I'm still slowly playing it (I discovered that I can no linger binge games like I could 10-15 years ago) and enjoying my experience 😊

Like, the number of lives saved by controlling air pollution in America is probably over 200,000 per year, but the number of people who think their life was saved by controlling air pollution is zero.

People can celebrate small victories while fighting for bigger change. Never accepting the good has left me only bitter and burned out, never motivated to do more. Maybe you need that anger to keep going and that's okay, but I'm not built that way. I need some hope and this gave it to me.

As one of those people, no it's not perfect and yes of I'd rather the debt be forgiven but I cried when I heard the news because it's been decimating my credit for years. Having awful credit and debt is definitively worse than debt alone in my experience. This is far from an empty gesture.
