For her, PT was a means of training both the body and the mind. Discipline and pushing her limits and capabilities. The upward progression of honing her skills.

"Good, nothing better to get the blood moving than a brisk morning run."

She was raring to go, almost bouncing back and forth between her feet while jogging in place.

"I'll be keeping pace with you, think you'll be able to manage, Private?"

— She made a move to fall in next to the Marine, flashing a small, friendly smile in his direction.

"Morning! Ready to get those miles in?"

Every now and then, she would make a point to do PT with some of the non Spartan personnel.

For her, it was means of trying to build bridges between the different branches.

It also kept her tethered to her own humanity, even throughout the course of the war.
