Learning by trial with 3D printing has felt like mixing all of my dabbling in creative hobbies of cosplay, prop building, and D&D mini-fig painting into an ultimate time sink.

Was I just leveling up to this the whole time?

(He says, out loud, while a 12 hour print replaces the white noise)

Aka "Please fap" can also be made for the same joke.

I've long held a "If you can't laugh, you're doing it wrong" mentality to relationships.

As one with 'em, go for it. They're the only piercings I get to keep in at work.

Explaining the games the boys played in public school to my wife:

Such as Buttball or Quarters/Knuckles.

Teenage boys from the 90's and 00's were just into batsu games.

Yea...it partially explains why my generation is messed up.

I don't know how I didn't realize this before.

Partner and I have a giant foam D20 we throw bouncing off everything through the house to determine things.

Who cooks dinner? Who decides the meal?

Tonight she beat all of my rolls (my bad RNG).

Then she rolled a Nat 1 and immediately stubbed her toe within seconds.

We don't question the die.

New to 3d printing. Also why I'm not allowed to physically manifest my dumb ideas:

Discussing my terrible RNG tonight and reminded of a guest spot/player slot of a podcast I was on for a big collaborative event.

I failed.

EVERY. SINGLE. ROLL.

I felt bad for the GM for not knowing how to deal with me.

Liking the neon esthetic. Happy to see a highball on the menu.

Order kimchi cucumbers while I wait on a "take on" tonkotsu.

Ginger Tonkotsu Ramen. Not exactly traditional, but it warmed me to my bones.

Reminded why I'm try new foods.

I still think of that place like I did my trip to Japan.

I'm pretty sure I just accidentally activated a sleeper agent in my wife by being a supportive partner (not opposed to pampering) saying:

"Sure, let's go get our toes done and we can hit up a craft store after"

It just came out.

I'm afraid of what transpired at her cheshire grin.

Pray for me.

If a game studio is going to double down on AI tools that stole from other people's art:

I, personally, don't think they have any room to complain about their games being pirated.

I'd just call it inspiration for my own hobby projects.

Also realizing that a "document drawer" sounds, potentially, like a thing the born in early 80's folks have carried over after I've posted it to all of the socials.

It's my desk. That's the drawer. I'm old. But not turning to dust.

Cleaning out my document drawer and finding a Christmas Amazon gift card from (I don't even know how many) several years ago?

Or.

Getting rewarded for de-cluttering?

Checked a bucket list item (I've had since I was 18) last night.

Finally got to see Billy Idol live.

It was fantastic seeing both Joan Jett and him killing it on stage. Getting a chance to see one of my top 5 songs of all time live was a moment I will cherish.

Partner being off on Mondays has turned into a good reset after the start of my work week.

Watching wrestling, some board games (Today was a solo Legacy of Yu session and a round of Hive Pocket), and tacos.

Makes up for the rude interruption against the weekend.

Nothing is truly scarier than a group fighting for equality. (My few years of union were the worst example and still I root)

Been years of this dude making me double take at my many, many years of PAX West (been going almost 20 now). Finally mustered the courage to say hi to Fake Tycho. Absolute great con veteran and look forward to meeting again next year.

Cyberpower was my most recent. Had some issues with a ram rgb diffuser and fans being as loud as my vaccuum. But getting a deal price made it worthwhile for what I wanted when I started tweaking things.

The lead up to PAX West is also known as the longest work week possible.
