I think people need to be loud in their support for allowing NSFW content to exist. You don't have to consume it or like it, but all too often it feels like a lot of people would be fine with NSFW artists losing their livelihoods as long as it stopped there.

It effectively cut off a major source of potential revenue. Because of payment processors and guidelines on the most accessible commissioning websites, finding a way to earn money off of NSFW but especially kink content has been getting harder for years.

So fun fact about me: I occasionally draw NSFW, and the kind I specialize in was banned on patreon years ago for no legitimate reason. It wasn't illegal, not even close. It was CNC adjacent, which gave patreon the ick enough to say it wasn't allowed.
