PSA if you have a tempered glass screen protector on any of your devices that has even slightly cracked, replace it. I left mine too long and whilst trying to remove it, it shattered in my hand. I have a bit of a swollen hand right now.

Thank you, unfortunately both tutors agreed with the views so instead of shutting it down they just reinforced what was being said. One even said they tend not to express their views on this subject because it could invite trouble.

I thought this was a safe space. Not surprised the views people express when they don’t know there’s a trans person in the room. Such a shame it ended this way after attending for 3 years.

Last week there was a strong discussion brought up by a new member and as a result I got exposed to the views of the tutors as well. There was talk about who is a “real trans person” but a comment later there is no such thing as being trans.

Had to make the difficult decision to drop out of the art group at the Recovery College which would’ve been the last group as the RC is closing next month but I no longer feel comfortable.
