I have a knack for below average horror flicks

And middle eastern courtroom dramas

One of these is a masterpiece, another one a fantastic satire

Actually two in each count

What I liked most about Lena Dunham's 'Too much' is how you always need to have respect in every aspect of your relationships, everyone deserves respect

And it is all a hilariously chaotically drama-ridden roller coaster

And it served the purpose I intended, I had to add to my watchlist at least three I've never heard about

One of these is one I often rewatch at least once a year, one other was long overdue in my watchlist and two others were a pleasant (and disturbing) surprise

Had to edit it a couple of times as I remembered other movies from this century I have really enjoyed

I can never get enough of these, cried, suffered, laughed hardly, but mostly, movies that keep haunting you long after you see them.

I’m a sucker for time traveling romcoms and gorish slow burning horrific fairy tales

All this to say, if I like it I like it. I can't bare condemning a work of art just because "Salvor is a man! it's inconceivable they made him a woman!", c'mon, that's stupid. You *can* still enjoy it, easy on your purist thoughts

In Apple TV's 'Foundation', they base a lot more for the series, but even then it's just some concepts, situations, characters and events. The truth is that it's an entirely new a different story that hell, I enjoy very much. Even when they unforgivably defaced the books with their ads.

'I, Robot' the book was not even the basis of Alex Proyas' movie with Will Smith, they just took a few names, the 3 laws of robotics and run with it.

But that doesn't mean it wasn't fun, it was alright, I won't demand burning every copy of it because of their loose connection with Asimov's books.

I've been reading the whole History of the Future, you know, Isaac Asimov's saga spanning more than a dozen books written across decades. And yet again I confirm how I can enjoy each form of entertainment differently, regardless of how little (if at all) these works are based on each other

In terms of the tv series, the Last of Us video game purists are welcome to still enjoy that art form.

Do you mean she can kill with no remorse and heavy violence an unarmed human being who is already doomed, but she is unable of at least trying to do a cut to possibly save a dying baby? Even when implored to do it?

Not only Ellie is a selfish prick, but also, evil

Even when you have no clue about Star Wars lore, this is an oppressive government that doesn’t bat an eye when it needs some mineral regardless of chewing and spitting out an entire planet. So, of course it interlinks great political drama and resistance gestation across a galaxy.

I’m mostly against that push for Letterboxd to include tv series (aside from limited series, those are long format movies, in my opinion)

But the 3d arch for season 2 of ‘Andor’ made me re-consider. This is great storytelling in a deeply moving picture. Where can I give it five stars?
