I’ve been following NetSpeek for a while and was drawn to their vision of making meeting room management radically simpler with LLM-powered automation. When you believe in something this strongly, you don’t just watch—you jump in!

The past year has been a wild ride personally, getting into the founder mode, collaborating with great AI-driven startups, and exploring new frontiers. Now, I’m excited to take on a new challenge as Head of Product & Innovation at NetSpeek! 🚀

Risk isn’t the enemy. Misjudging it is.
Master the art of knowing when to take a bet and when to fold. That’s where real success lies.

So how do you make decisions in uncertain situations?
1️⃣ Learn to think in probabilities.
2️⃣ Accept that failure is often part of success.
3️⃣ Stay flexible—sometimes you’re in The River, sometimes in The Village. Adapt. 🌿

The key isn’t choosing only one world. It’s about knowing which mindset to adopt at the right time.
In fast-changing fields like AI, crypto, or tech startups, The River’s probabilistic thinking wins.
In governance or regulation? The Village’s caution matters more.

On the flip side, there’s The Village—a world of politicians, journalists, and academics. Stability and avoiding failure are the rules.
Their game isn’t about winning big; it’s about not losing what they’ve built. 🏡

Some of the most innovative minds—entrepreneurs, poker players, and venture capitalists—live on The River, constantly betting on the future.
For them, every risk is a calculated opportunity. 🌊

There are two ways to live in the face of uncertainty:
1️⃣ Embrace the chaos and bet smart. 🎰
2️⃣ Stick to safe, known paths and avoid risks. 🥽🦺
Both work… until they don’t. Knowing when to switch is the key.

🎲 Think of life as a poker game. Not everything is predictable, but probabilities guide our decisions.
What separates the successful risk-takers from the cautious majority isn’t luck—it’s thinking in bets and understanding uncertainty.

Risk is everywhere.
Yet, how we think about risk changes everything. Some embrace it like poker players calculating every move. Others avoid it at all costs. But is there a right approach?🧵👇🏻

All these echo an ancient worldview, where living in harmony with sky, earth, and all life is paramount. In that silent forest, it is like a reminder that we’re part of a vast, living tapestry, stitched together by respect and wonder. And we are lost if we lost the harmony 🌿🏞️🌖

Ever since I read about these insights, I’ve begun to see nature as a gentle reminder. The path of a river and the murmur of the woods remind me that beauty isn’t about perfection—it’s raw, unplanned moments of life. It is a story of quiet resilience, inviting me to simply be.

I’ve been reading about Japanese philosophy recently, and it struck me how nature teaches us everything we need to know. In wabi-sabi, we find beauty in the imperfect. In shinrin-yoku, we heal by the forest. Watching this river reminds me both—imperfect yet perfect in its rhythm.
