You don’t know what happened. You said “Russian armies & allied fighters” which is not what happened in the Georgian-Abkhazian War. How can we debate anything when the Georgians have deceived you & many others to believe a false premise of the war?

The Ukrainians don’t know who started the war. Many largely don’t know anything beyond their borders. They would feel differently upon realizing Georgians use Russia to obscure their vile intentions towards their immediate neighbors that didn’t have the luck of having union republic.

All of the post Soviet militaries committed the horrendous atrocities as they did in Afghanistan against each other in those wars that erupted in the 90s.

It’s a gross injustice for all the residents of Bucha that the Georgians took Bucha to garner sympathy in a war of aggression that they started against Abkhazia & South Ossetia.

Russia didn’t send any armies to attack Abkhazia in the 90s. North Caucasus including Chechnya rallied to defend Abkhazians from Georgian aggression. The State Council of Georgia was a pro-Russian government. How can you demand any accountability when you don’t know what happened?

That faction in Georgia has deceived our State Department last year. We have abandoned much of the post Soviet space for over 30 years. I don’t want to see the Abkhazians & Ossetians suffer more due to the collective ignorance & what was forgotten about Georgian chauvinists in last 35 years.

As an American myself, I don’t want our citizens to become even more demoralized by investing ourselves with a faction from a country that most our fellow Americans know nothing about. We can’t take inspiration from a faction that is filled with those very similar to Serb ultranationalists.

He also has praised & defended Trump for over 13 years in various medias. He is so privileged to have internet access. Praised all of Trump’s actions on Facebook. He used Sam Kislin back in 2019 on his Facebook, an alleged spotter agent for the KGB, to defend Trump.

GD is a vehemently anti-Saakashvili & UNM party. A lot of politicians & diplomats from US & Europe don’t understand that Saakashvili was a terrible person. He ran Georgia like one would expect a former KGB border guard would do. He has an incredible silver tongue.

That faction has so far isolated Georgia, Abkhazia & South Ossetia from the world. Deceiving the US Department in September 2024, where they had no idea that Ivanishvili’s apology was to the Ossetians & not to the Russians.

So all the prominent Georgians on here, Twitter & so on are connected to UNM. It doesn’t help they happen to be very charismatic & charming. They pull the wool over people’s eyes. They wasted enough of people’s time. Saakashvili has done very suspicious things since 2003 that benefit the Russians.

The reason it goes nowhere is because people don’t understand Georgian politics & history. The rallies are supported by those connected to Saakashvili & United National Movement. Many of the opposition parties have founders that came from UNM or have some kind of connection to Saakashvili.

The only thing that faction of Georgians can do is attention grabbing rallies in Georgia. Despite appearances, they don’t have popular support in Georgia. They rely on their foreign friends in political, diplomatic, academic, media, etc circles to get foreign people excited but it goes nowhere.

I rather not see my fellow Americans become disappointed by investing themselves with a people that many here in the US know nothing about. Besides that faction of Georgians deceived our State Department last year.

Then honor the results that the vast majority of Georgians support their government & ignore these rallies. Your expense of everything else means Abkhazians & Ossetians continue to suffer, abandoned by the world for having the misfortune to be placed in Georgia’s union republic by Stalin/Moscow.

There’s nothing those 3 can learn from this faction of Georgians. People simply need to ignore them & stop giving money to them.
