We don't even have those rights in the U.S. In fact, many in the U.S. are trying to take the few rights these groups have away from them.

In 2022, 75% of Cubans on the island voted on Constitutional amendments that codified LGBTQ rights and strengthened the rights of women, children, and elderly Cubans.

Sounds pretty democratic to me.
