My grandfather on my mums side had again a two door Charger bright orange brand spanking new.
I still remember those ads from the 70’s
Hey Charger ✌️ as someone drove one down the
road 🤣
Geelong was the hub for Ford here in Vic.
Blue collar Working class like my family drove Holdens 😊

My dad’s car two door Valiant Chrysler I think the interior was burgundy leather
white with a black top.
We were a loyal generational Holden family other than all of us having that one break out car.
My brother sold my dads when he died.
All of them worth bank now.
Hindsight 😊
Me too I had a two door ford coupe cream black interior 1966 someone reengineered the motor mount dropped a v8 in it chrome mags.
That car was my passion
But I loved it but life happens and I needed to pay bills more than I could afford leaded petrol.
It’s my if I ever car get rich I’ll find it car.
My grandfather had a 56 Chevy tan and creme leather interior left hand drive.
Drove it down a lane way to park it in his backyard car port behind his house with about an inch either side of wiggle room.
The love of his life.
After he died my uncle sold it for peanuts.
Bet he regrets it to this day
