Artworks NW showcases of artwork from current PNW artists that focuses on the dialogues that artists are exploring in the current art scene.

I'd envisioned that the work would tell a story but, as I'd never actually seen it as a whole, it was a bit of a gamble that paid off!

When I arrived at PMRCAA, just outside of Sisters, I wasnβt greeted by the trope of a postcard-perfect Western landscape, but rather by acrid air and smoke-draped mountains β a study in desaturated hues and a reminder of the increasing impact of climate change on the land and us.
