Oh, there was one book that I did read from the pile of discarded books that kind of shaped my identity. What happened to Lani Garver by Carol Plum Ucci, be it not the best representation, but still an introduction to my young self

And for context, I’m queer, I just never read anything erotic before at that age, even when I was fully into fanfic, I would stick to fluffy fanfiction. That book was an entirely a new experience for me because passed it there was a discussion of mental health and toxic relationships

OH MY GOSH,
I remember I picked up a book that sounded interesting and I didn’t know it had homosexual themes and mature content (context I was a 14 year old at the time and very conservative) and I had read a portion that led to a gay sexual interaction and that blew my mind as a kid, lmao

Oh in addition, I still have my books from competition based clubs that required reading and critical thinking. So not only do I have random 90s books I also have some classic and some sci-fi and I hate sci-fi lol

A recent post reminded me of a time where I collected books that were going to be discarded at my past high school’s library. I just picked a few that seemed interesting and different and I have yet to read them but I plan to make a proper shelf so I could maybe one day sit down and read them

It’s the creation of a library versus visiting a library. I personally want to create a library to visit it in my spare time if anyone gets what I mean

I wouldn’t consider myself fat (not all the time at least (body issues), but it’s mainly an issue of just overall health for me and I’ve seen improvement. Now to tackle my sleep schedule 😂

Have been trying to eat out less and exercise more and I’ve seen progress. My morning weight has gone from 170 to 165. Yesterday when I weighed myself at the end of the day (after eating and exercise) I was 168 instead of 172. Making progress 😊
