This was so helpful. I've listened multiple times. The idea of 2 simultaneous running threads explains exactly what's going on. I don't know if I can accept my distraction during prayer as something normal, but I can definitely be more forgiving of myself now.

This is a challenge. My OH recently 'told me off' for taking everything so seriously. He was concerned for me that I hear something & I immediately go all in on it. I feel I'm just treating things as seriously as they need to be, but maybe I'm being overwhelmed by the constant stream of brain food.
