AI can’t improve your writing. Only you can improve your writing. Through practice and experience you will improve the more you write. AI can only make you sound like everybody else, as it takes away your unique voice.

I would rather my work be perceived as bad. At least I wrote it.

I wrote free verse and tanka this morning! Read several pages of Bright Dead things by Ada Limon. The sun started rising around six and even though it’s chilly, I’m pretty happy so far. 💚 #justwriterthings

This year we are going to do things differently than we did in 2025.

Last year we were publishing poems weekly in a blog format. Each month was considered an issue or micro issue. We then shut down the blog site and shifted issues to a downloadable digital format.

Mini life update: I was busy for the Holidays—spent time with family, ate really good food, and now I’m sick (again) and can’t breathe correctly. I’m hoping this doesn’t turn into a fever! I really don’t need that right now lol
