Never once has the Trump White House tried to bring people together. On any topic. Ever. He has never called for unity or extended an olive branch. He ONLY ever calls for punishment of his critics. That is NOT what a POTUS is supposed to do and it is the primary reason that he ALWAYS fails as one.

Trump’s Whitehouse declared that any Republican who signs the discharge petition to release the Epstein files is committing “…a very hostile act to the administration.”
That pretty much tells you everything you need to know. If I were an R rep, I’d make damned sure my name was on that petition.
