Seen plenty of the 3928 over the years.
One of my favorite train chases of all time took place 10 years ago OTD, 3/11/2016, as I followed the Wisconsin and Southern's Prairie du Chien Subdivision local freight train from Madison to Spring Green.
They all strained their pride after the last several games.
Whiffed on the Kankakee etc tornado machine. Thought anything that far NE would get undercut by the lake breeze. Ended up on a storm just north of GBG and followed it toward Kewanee/Princeton. It got tornado-warned and briefly displayed an interesting RFD cut to the updraft base, but that was it.
Well technically Kankakee isn't north of I-80, but would be right on or just south of it if it didn't jog north into Chicago, but you get the idea.
Probably a big reason we have had two significant tornado events north of I-80 with synoptic setups that weren't even that impressive for the time of year.
Yeah, remember when Trump said be patriots and sacrifice for your fellow Americans to get through COVID? π€£
The Cybertruck was Elmo's baby and a massive flop (rightfully so; it looks terrible, is terribly built, is terrible at being a truck and massively overpriced). If we actually had normal market capitalism where companies responded to customer demand, he would have been tossed out on his ass by now.
Guy is a trip to watch but that can't be good.
Bobby! Bobby! Bobby!
Send the military cosplayers who signed up for ICE first.
Nice shot! My phone camera wasn't that good but I like this one I got of him seemingly alone on the court lining up a free throw in 2022.
(NOT A FORECAST) All hail the RRFS A, the new king of supercell printers.
Tapper is an embarrassment to journalism and so is Kristen Welker. MTP was nauseating today.
"Limp Biscuit" π
@lofromwisco.bsky.social Threw this together for fun a few weeks ago. Started it off with another iconic scene involving Dusty.

Yet they've given their party over entirely to idolatry of a man who is a walking sex scandal.
...or that.
We the Millennials who are 40 now invented social media (whoops, our bad). Our Boomer parents who were afraid of it in their 50s 20 years ago now want to get more into it in their late 70s and we're like "Trust us, you're not missing anything."
Right. There were a few outlooks in the past where the hatching bled into the 5%, and I thought that had to be a mistake bc you can't have a 10% or greater probability of an E/F2+ tornado within 25 miles of a point when your probability of *any* tornado within 25 miles of a point is less than 10%.
...but did you save big money?
This guy gets it. π
Sorry I'm not more open-minded about LLMs, it's just some fucking maniacs shoveled out a bunch of useless bloatware featuring that technology, did not give me any chance to opt out, reorganized the entire economy around it, zeroed out gains made by green energy, and made it impossible to buy RAM
This was...not the part of the Southern Plains I was expecting this tonight.
(To be fair, I would have targeted further southwest, too)
Ironic lack of dots near the one that's actually producing a tornado.
That could be interpreted in one of several ways. π
