Difficult Art And Music

No idea! But if artists/musicians had ideas, or work to donate or some such I was thinking I could put together some sort of promo/funding campaign?

Don’t really have a plan as yet, but idly wondered whether artists contributing to a compilation, or art-prints, or something, could be used as some of promo/funding campaign?

DAAM is in a pretty dire position. Going to make a big push to get some more subscribers / fund the next couple of releases, otherwise I'm probably going to have to throw in the towel.

If any musicians / artists like the label and want to help out in some way, please do get in touch :)

I never know what to think abotuthese sort of changes. I already had to use Stripe for a few other things anyway. I'm not leaving Bandcamp anytime soon - but Amy slowly moving releases on to other services too - none of the alternatives seem great yet, but maybe soon as they grow...

UK folk - what's your fav indie record shop / book shop / magazine shop?

It would - I’ve been thinking this given how hard it’s been to get stuff in and out of UK after Brexshit. very happy to help organise a discussion to take such ideas further.

Is there anything that can be done? Should small labels be working together to find solutions? I wonder whether some kind of forum between interested labels might offer some solutions/plans about what the future looks like?

I was saying the same thing when things were bad in the winter :( nows even worse...

I'm noticing it's more a month on month decline. Sales are about 1/4, if not less, of where they were a year ago.

People who run record labels / small presses / etc:

Have all your sales fallen off a cliff?

DAAM has gone from 'bad sales' to almost no sales, despite spending more on promo, getting more exposure, etc.

Is this the case across the board, or do we just suck? :)
