When 45 was first elected I was working in student affairs full time. I did feel a sense of dread/hopelessness/rage but I kept myself busy/occupied in work. Since then I got a PhD and am full time faculty. It hurts more this time. As a critical scholar I feel deeper and it hurts so much more now.
