Their project, “Transforming Tick-Borne Disease Detection: A Multiplexed Serological Assay for Point-of-Care Diagnosis,” Won Best Oral Presentation & Best Overall Presentation for their groundbreaking work. ✅

The 3,300-year-old European mummy known as Ötzi tested positive for Lyme disease, according to research from the University of Toronto. This ancient illness has been affecting humans since the Bronze Age. Lyme disease isn’t new,but awareness, early detection, & prevention is so important.
