If youβre interested in growing fresh veggies but donβt have a place to garden, just know I grew this giant tatsoi cabbage completely indoors with nothing but a tray of regular potting soil and a $15 LED grow light ππ±

Lacewing eggs are cheaper to ship and easier to care for, and more of them stick around where you want them to stay, whereas keeping ladybugs in your garden more than a couple days can be difficult.

We recently got a review that our cucumber seeds were sickly and many didnβt germinate. So I did a second germination test just to be sure. They passed (again) at 99% germination, and look pretty healthy to me π€·ββοΈ
But just know weβll always check if you report an issue π±π

Yeah most of our stuff wonβt get started till March in the greenhouse.
These are the slow starters that take a longer growing season- petunias, onions, etc.

A pale orange nasturtium flower with a yellow throat and variegated foliage
The name βnasturtiumβ originates from the Latin word nΔsus ("nose") and torquΔre ("to twist") which literally translates to "nose-twister" π
Itβs due to the pungent spicy smell of the plant.
The flowers are edible, and taste like radishes π

me holding this space as quiet compliance.
As an individual Iβm active, vocal, and making good trouble.
As a business weβre donating what we can manage to help victims with legal fees and medical bills.
I just recognize that sometimes people need a moment of calm for their mental healthβ¦
a lot our followers come to this page when they need a break from the horrors and chaos. They come to enjoy the beauty of nature and gardening, and to take a much needed deep breath.
Aside from this post, I wonβt take that respite away by posting more politics and news.
But do not mistakeβ¦

(1 of 3) Bear with me, but this needs to be addressed.
Lots of people out there (rightfully) saying that silence is compliance, and businesses that donβt use their social media platforms to take a stand are choosing sides with their silence.
The problem is thatβ¦

2/2 Thatβs precisely why we advocate for responsible placement and maintenance, and donβt ship seed to states where itβs considered a nuisance. Ours is planted in an in-ground pot to prevent runners, is pruned regularly, and only a few seed pods are allowed to mature (for sharing seed.)
