It is with very heavy hearts that we have share the sad news of our contributor, Deborah Norris who died peacefully at home on May 12th. Not only was she a fierce HIV activist for women and the LGBT Community, she was also a mother of two and diagnosed back in the early 90s. Rest in peace, Deborah.

HIV treatment saves lives.
Currently 20 million people worldwide are on treatment funded by the President’s Emergency Plan For AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).
That funding was halted by Presidential order and then given a reprieve for 90 days.
Its future is uncertain.

An emergency waiver will allow the continuation of PEPFAR to continue providing lifesaving HIV treatment to 20 million people worldwide.
We are at a key moment in the struggle, with new tools to treat and prevent HIV.
Now is not the time to halt efforts, now is the time to end the HIV epidemic.
