When we talk about who we vote for, and we say “there’s some good in their policies (why we pick them) and also “some bad but the good outweighs it”
We need to change that view. If they only do the “bad” - is it still worth it? Trade the rights of your neighbor for a better economy? Yikes.
I’m ready for malicious compliance here. You want religious schools funded by the feds? Let’s see Hindu, Muslim, etc pop up everywhere. Choice? BLM Charter, Queer Studies Charter, etc.

Today’s intention: Be steady.
This day commemorates a day that was anything but steady a few short years ago, and so my goal for today is to breathe, hold what I can, and balance the rest.

Every year, not on NYE but ✨MY✨ new year (aka birthday), I select a word to meditate on and embody in the year ahead. Words like “intentional” or “quality.” For year 34 my word is “wonder” - both meaning awe and meaning curiosity. I’m eager to see how it keeps unfolding.
