In elder scrolls online I really enjoyed impromptu dueling in the open world as well as hanging out in player created houses.
People got really creative with the decorating but I'm not sure if that counts lol.

Lol totally fair, I haven't even touched some of my tools in ages.
Making quills is honestly quite a lot of waiting around and only cutting the quill when you finally are ready to write with it. Though even then you will have way too many quills as they do not break as easily as in Harry Potter lol.

Would you be interested in making the pens yourself?
I'm sadly across the pond but have worked in historical recreation for quite a while and have experience in making my own pens.

I've been lucky enough to have a decent size backyard growing up (if going diagonally) but even that doesn't hit the same as going out to a range or just into nature to shoot the wind.

As a lvl 15-20 player, do you want to sit outside a cave and just kill trash lvl goblins all day every day? Or do you want to fight a dragon, a giant, a pack of ancient vampires?

Why would someone who thinks of themselves as a god give themselves a 80 hour work week with no time off?

"Why don't high lvl enemies/boss's just camp near the starting area?"

And of course there's the meta reason of this is a story and stories are supposed to be fun.
But I think we're missing something by not looking at it the other way.
