We've got 8 unanimous picks and 8 contested games, neatly broken down into a 4 game gauntlet at 1 PM, 3 late afternoon games, and a MNF showdown if needed.

Yeah, I see 10 to 12 games out of the 16 that could wind up being unanimous. After seeing Gulyas win the week with his commendably insane Minnesota outlier pick, it is/was definitely tempting to buck the odds, but with so many one-sided games, it's a real gamble guessing on the upset.

I'm expecting a particularly tough week ahead in the BrewPool with several unanimous picks as most of these games look pretty lopsided.

This weekend's Patriots game will decide my Super Bowl pick. If they handle the Bills with relative ease (no small task!), I will be taking them to go all the way. Yes, I'm a believer, almost.

You know you're deep in the BrewPool season when you're going over the next week's games while MNF is still on.

Another 'race' worth keeping an eye on as the season comes to a close: the Coxy Award for Best Single Week Record. As of now, Daveed, Derek, & Walker are poised to collect the honor with their astonishing 14-2 record in Week 2. That'll be hard to top unless someone pulls off an insanely good week.

It came down to the wire, but the juggernaut would not be denied. Gulyas' victory this week puts him at 6 wins, matching the winning number for last year's BrewPool co-champions Brewer and myself. With just four weeks to go and the title window closing fast, here are YOUR current BrewPool standings.

Oh boy! We’ve got a MNF showdown made for BrewPool lore!! A win for Gulyas, the rookie sensation, would propel him to the top of the standings with 6 wins. On the other side is Karen, a fellow BrewPool newcomer, who has yet to get on the board. The juggernaut v the underdog on Monday night!

There’s still some time left and stranger things have happened, but we’re on the cusp of what may be an epic BrewPool MNF showdown.

What wild and fascinating circumstances. Two completely opposite sets of picks, only one can win. Wild.

Yep. CHI/GB is a now a knock out game for Walker v Gulyas. Don't sleep on Karen, though as she is still very much alive with her SNF & MNF picks going against both Walker & Gulyas. She can even survive a GB loss and still possibly take the week if Houston & Philly both win.

God damn, this gauntlet has been a blood bath for everyone but 3 BrewPoolians (Gulyas, Kartott, & Walker).

It's gauntlet time, baby! Best of luck to my fellow BrewPoolians, should be a fun afternoon.

A valiant showing from Dallas. Thought they were going to pull it off towards the end, but it seemed like Detroit always had an answer for them.

One last scorecard note: the picks are diverse enough among the 11 BrewPoolians that we only have ONE knockout game this week and, ironically enough, it's between the two winners from last week: PIT (Miles) at BAL (Blackwolf Oates).

And some of the remaining games feature two awful teams facing off where you're left to wonder if they even want to win the game or would rather lose and improve their draft standing. It's like reverse playoff implications in those ones.

We find ourselves on oddly opposite sides of the coin this week, Coxy, as I'll be rooting for your beloved Dolphins to not embarrass themselves like they usually do and you'll be forced to pull for the Jets to beat them. Oh, the irony! The delicious irony!!

All in all, it's nice to see a Thursday night game with major BrewPool implications. There haven't been enough of them this season.

It certainly looks that way, yeah. It's going to be a dog fight, I suspect, with the 1 PM gauntlet being particularly treacherous.

Meanwhile, TEN/CLE, MIA/NYJ, and PIT/BAL are all 3/8.

And CIN/BUF is (2/9) with WAS/MIN being an outlier game at (10/1) with @firkon.bsky.social being the sole pick for Minnesota.

Unless someone goes on a super hot streak, this has the makings of a week where MNF may wind up deciding the winner.

Most divided games are DAL/DET (5/6), HOU/KC (5/6), PHI/LAC (6/5). Followed by CHI/GB and IND/JAX, which are both 4/7.
