I do know that why people didn’t really like Sonic is mainly cuz of how all over the place the series was, at least after Sonic ‘06 really screwed things over and made Sega more safe with the series, so it wasn’t cuz of a single person’s opinion, just that he fuelled the mockery towards the series.

And honestly even if I’m still halfway through the the first SA, so I still haven’t played Amy’s, Big’s and Omega’s story, even if I had to play the PC version with a Dreamcast restoration mod, I still really enjoyed my time despite the rough edges.

Yeah true, plus I wasn’t trying to make it sound like he is the main reason why everyone hates him, I just mean he is a part of the problem, especially since I remember seeing one clip of him trying to make JonTron agree that the SA games are terrible, despite the fact that JonTron really likes them

The fact that Sega even made Game Grumps the official Sonic Ambassador before Inugami Korone (someone who actually loves Sonic) took over the title is so bizarre to me. 💀

Yeah. Plus despite how more stable the series has been thanks to the Sonic movies and the recent games, Sonic is still a big punching bag to some people.
