"Disagreement" is an achievement that we have to work to GET TO in a public sphere as fragmented as ours is. If we can get to disagreement, we'd pretty much have solved most of our problems.

I long for a day when my opponents merely disagree with me. We can handle that.

Anybody who ends up going down because of the Epstein list is getting exactly what they deserve. If it dismantles the internal power dynamics of both USAmerican parties (or any other govt!), then that's the appropriate outcome.

I used to be a producer on one of Canada’s flagship daily politics shows.

We choose the order of segments. The topics for panels. The guests.
