In the current “Trump-wants-Greenland” controversy, perhaps more media attention should be given to Greenland being sought as a future cheap energy site/subsidy for U.S. tech company data centers & AI, as well as related rare earth interests...??

The title of this Feb 2016 cover by The New Yorker’s Barry Blitt is titled "Bad Reception.” Says Blitt of his work: “In most historical portraits, Presidents are noble and dignified. My biggest challenge [for this cover] was to alter the Presidents’ expressions to make them reflect attitudes of consternation.”

This “New Yorker” magazine cover of Feb 1st, 2016 – featuring our nation’s former revered & admired presidents huddled around a TV aghast & horrified as they watch Donald Trump speak – is even more appropriate in 2025! Thank you, Barry Blitt.

Fake March 1, 2009 editions of Time magazine with Trump on the cover were found displayed at seven Trump Golf Clubs, according to Washington Post reporting in June 2017. To his credit, Trump does have a number of real Time covers – probably 40 or more since his first one in January 1989 (not counting the recent “President Musk” cover). Not all of Trump’s Time covers, however, have rendered him in a stately or flattering way. See story link for details and Trump magazine history from his NY days through his first term.
