I recently read volume 7 of the Splatoon manga by Sankichi Hinodeya and, like all the previous volumes, it's a funny read. It's still silly, but slightly more serious this time as it adapts Octo Expansion, but that only made it more memorable to me.

I just read The Christmas Appeal by @janicehallett.bsky.social. I've not read the original, but that didn't affect my enjoyment at all. It's a great festive mystery told in a very interesting modern epistolary style. Definitely recommended at this time of year!
